News on Ashley Road Depot

Our Summer 2023 Newsletter has just been sent out, and includes invitations to our Meet the Contractor events for our exciting Ashley Road Depot development, which is set to transform the former depot site into a green, open neighbourhood of 272 new high-quality council homes.

Our Ashley Road Development is part of the council’s ambitious home building programme aimed at delivering a new generation of council homes for local residents. You can read more about the programme here.

As you may be aware, the council demolished the vacant depot buildings, and hoarded the area in 2022. Our contractor, Formation Design and Build Ltd, has been undertaking site preparation work, and expects to start the main construction work in July.

As part of our efforts to keep you informed, we are holding three ‘Meet the Contractor’ meetings during June and July where you can meet the team building the new homes and ask them any question you may have about the construction and what is involved. • Saturday 24 June (10am-2pm) – in-person, drop-in session at Living Under One Sun Café and Community Hub, in Down Lane Park, Park View Road, N17 9EX

• Thursday 29 June (from 6pm) – online event 1

• Thursday 06 July (from 1pm) – online event 2
